Laser hair removal is an innovative way to permanently reduce the production of hair growth. At the Skin and Vein Centre we use a state-of-the-art machine that utilizes a high repetition rate of three short pulse lasers delivered deep into the dermis of the skin to achieve permanent hair reduction with virtually no pain. Using a unique, in-motion technology and patented dual-chill treatment tip, the surface of your skin stays cool and comfortable throughout your session.  All skin types can be treated, and all pigmented hair can be treated. White hair and extremely blonde hair will not react to these treatments.

Areas being treated must be shaved 12-24 hours prior to your session and not have been tweezed, waxed or sugared within 6 weeks prior.

It is recommended to have at least 8-10 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart for optimal results. Hair follicles can only be treated/destroyed while they are in the active stage (anagen). People generally have 10-20% of their hair follicles in this state at a time. Therefore it is important to have multiple treatments at the recommended time to achieve results of up to 85%.

Results may vary from person to person and an in-depth consultation is mandatory prior to your first treatment.

There is little to no down time after your treatment and you can go about all daily activities as normal.
