Endymed FSR
WHAT IS FSR FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT?
The treatment is based on the innovative use of fractional radiofrequency to stimulate skin repair.
WHO IS FSR FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT FOR?
The FSR treatment is suitable for all skin types, including dark and black skin. It is safe and effective and is designed for people who need skin tightening, skin texture rejuvenation, acne scarring and skin tone improvement. Areas of choice for treatment include the face, neck, hands and bust/ décolleté.
HOW DOES FSR FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCY WORK?
Fractional radiofrequency delivered to the skin induces repair and tightening of collagen fibres, elastic fibres and support tissue in the superficial and middle dermis. These reparative changes result in firmer skin, tighter skin texture and a smoother, more youthful appearance.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK? IS IT PAINFUL? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
A treatment session lasts from 45 to 75 minutes depending on the extent of the areas treated. The treatment causes a tingling and warm sensation on the skin, which is well tolerate. An anesthetic cream is applied 45 to 60 minutes before the procedure to promote comfort. After treatment, the skin is red and there is swelling within 12 hours for most patients. Normal skin care and makeup can be resumed 48 hours after treatment.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED? HOW QUICKLY ARE RESULTS VISIBLE?
Depending on the condition of the skin, 3 to 6 sessions are required. The usual interval between each session is 3 to 6 weeks. For most patients, results are visible after the first session, but full results appear gradually over the 12 weeks following the end of the treatments.
HOW LONG DO THE BENEFITS LAST? IS MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
The restorative benefits of the FSR treatment are considered permanent and long lasting. That said, this treatment does not stop the internal biological clock and the normal aging of the skin. Therefore, occasional or annual maintenance may be recommended to prevent the effects of time.
CAN FSR FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCY BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
FSR is regularly combined with hyaluronic acid injections, such as Juvéderm, Restylane, and other laser and surgical techniques to achieve optimal overall results.
