Platelet Rich Plasma Treatments & For Hair Loss

FAQ

How is the treatment done?

There are different ways to prepare platelet-rich plasma. Rest assured, with WorldPRP, your clinical practitioner is using a best in class system.

  1. 23 ml (+2 sodium citrate) of blood is collected and transferred into a WorldPRP tube.
  2. Whole blood is centrifuged into three layers (plasma, platelet rich fibrin clot, red blood cells)
  3. Platelet-rich plasma is extracted from the WorldPRP tube and injected in the desired treatment area.

How long are the treatments and how many will I need?

Treatments tend to last about 30 minutes for each treatment area, including 10 minutes for numbing if required. Some patients will experience changes within one treatment, but individual results may vary. Consult your practitioner to develop a plan that is best suited for your desired outcome.

Is there downtime?

PRP is a safe and effective treatment with little to no downtime. Post treatment, you may experience some redness, tingling or mild bruising in the treatment area which will go away. Patients can return to work or continue with normal activities immediately after their treatment.

Regain the confidence

A growing number of patients are seeking natural solutions to achieve a younger appearance. PRP injections are a minimally invasive treatment that is both safe and well tolerated. Results have shown improvements in the volume, texture, and tone of facial skin and decreases in the appearance of wrinkles.

Clinical indication for PRP Injections:

  • Facial Rejuvenation
  • Collagen Stimulation
  • Skin Tightening
  • Tone/Texture Improvement
  • Reduces Fine Lines
  • Ability to Treat Delicate Areas

A series of PRP treatments for hair rejuvenation may help awaken dormant follicles, provide nutrients for existing follicles and decrease hair loss. Results may vary.

Treat multiple areas of concern:
PRP offers a minimally invasive treatment approach with visible improvements, minimal risk and patient burden. It can be used to treat common signs of aging in the following areas:

  • Hairline
  • Tear through
  • Cheeks & mid-face
  • Around the mouth
  • Hands
  • Chin
  • Neck

How it works:
PRP can be produced and injected simply and quickly. The growth factors contained in the PRP can have positive influences on the chronological aging processes. The effectiveness of this treatment may be explained by the stimulation of fibroblasts, increased production of collagen and endogenous hyaluronic acid.
